Dustvent started way back in 1885 under the name Wm. H. Vallas, Jr. & Sons.  William Vallas helped pioneer the dust collection industry.  The name changed to Dustvent in 1971.  New ownership by Art Resonquest expanded Dustvent's industrial dust collector line to also include mist, smoke and fume collection as well.  In 1999, William E. Hall, CEO of BTDT Capital Corp. became the new president and CEO of Dustvent.

Less concerned with branding, Dustvent has always been a product oriented company.  Solely based out of Addison, a suburb of Chicago, Dustvent remains focused on air pollution control technology for modern industrial plants.  Blowers and filters are custom sized and engineered specifically for each customer's application.  Typical products include a variety of downdraft benches, cyclone dust collectors, fabric dust collectors, source capture dust collectors, product recovery solutions, etc.
